Shiva at the Event Horizon

A Poem by Yin Din Shakya

Shen Zhen, China
At the moment before breath inhales
At the moment before it expels
I fall across a single infinity
Stretched into spatial anomaly
Across the illusion of happenings

Iridescent gold dust dances down
Like the waltz of leaves in fall
In soft light vaguely seen
A Sanskrit Om in brilliant blue
disappears in the black hole moon

'mmmmmm roars everywhere at once
Flickering embers rise up and flash
no questions left to rely on or to ask
Startled eyes open and mouth agape
Just Shiva at the event horizon
